Tomorrow is 1st of september.
the day that the details from Black ops will be released..

Let's home all rumours are true and the multi player will have dedicated server. For the modders, like me, it will have ModTools.
and hopefully this game won't be like the disapointing MW2.

new IP Change WebServer

All,

IP address has been changed for the public server, TS and Web.
The reason is change of ISP. The previous ISP was not able to provide more than 8Mbit download / 1 Mbit upload.
For the same price at another ISP I have now 60Mbit down and / 6 Mbit up. There is only one dis-advantage that the IP is dynamic. This can result in sudden change of IP. Therefore, best is to use the domain name "european-fighters.eu" instead of an IP address. It works for teamspeak and even also in COD4 searching for servers.

The upload of 6Mbit (read this as maximum 768 KB/s download speed) will enable us to have an acceptable download speed. This makes the road free to upload all kind of custom maps on the webserver, it still have 500Gb free space smiling

Currently I'm now adding custom maps to the download server and game server. If you have nice maps. post a message in the forum and share it with us.

new Base Assault for COD WAW

All,

There is now a base assault Mod created for COD WAW (COD 5)
As our EF roots are part from COD UO, i believe we need to take a look at this.

more info can be found here

Currently the mod is still BETA and server files are not released yet.
Once BETA is closed there is a chance that the server files will be release.

Let us know if you will be interesting in this. Once the server files are available we can host this.

Force lost,

qroacker WINS

The year 2010 can be regarded a lost year for

Force after the national gameplay failed to qualify for this year�s World Cup finals in European-Fighters solitaire showdown cup. Naturally,

Force had to step down because of health concerns.

qroacker had very impressive gameplay, this 6-1 loss was too much for Force.

Force said in a statement. �I have ignored my bad gameplay for years, but recent developments have forced me to re-evaluate my priorities of faith. It is better for us all that I will leave to Norway and go to study Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management�

It is sad for the Solitrair showdown communitie to loose such great player.

new Galactic Warfare MOD

[EF]-Galactic Warefare

It's long time no see. But here an update on our server.

Today added the MOD Galactic Warfare. It is a fun map in with cyber weapons.
This mod can only run the special designed map mp_tatooine. This map supports all game types.
The only disadvantage is that the donwload is done via the slow Server as the other is full.
152 MB for the MOD and 97MB for the Map

When you don't want to download at such slow speed, you can also manual download it from http://forum.i3d.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2615
then place the MOD and MAP in your local folders
or connect to another server which is running the swm_04b mod. Then donwload it and return back to our server. smiling
